Pre-Med LogBooks

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Pre-Med LogBooks ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of the App

Pre-Med LogBooks is a personal productivity app that helps pre-medical students document and organize their academic and clinical experiences. All data is stored locally on your device. The app does not require an account and does not transmit your personal data to any server.

3. Subscriptions and Free Trial

Pre-Med LogBooks is available through a subscription, with a free trial period offered to new users. The following terms apply:

• Free trial: A 7-day free trial is offered to new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Billing: All billing is handled by Apple through the App Store (iOS) or Google through Google Play (Android). Your payment method on file with Apple or Google will be charged upon confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your App Store subscription settings (iOS) or Google Play subscription settings (Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• Price changes: We may change subscription prices with advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

For billing questions or refund requests, contact Apple Support (iOS) or Google Play Support (Android) directly, as all transactions are processed by the respective platform.

4. Your Data

All content you create within the app — including LogBook entries, activity records, reflections, and notes — belongs entirely to you. We do not access, store, or transmit your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

We strongly recommend using the app's export feature to maintain your own backups. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, accidental deletion, or app uninstallation.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the app only for lawful personal purposes. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Use the app to store or distribute unlawful content
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription verification

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use of the app is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including any loss of data.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
